Scott is an executive commercial leader in the Flavor, Fragrance & Ingredient industry with over 30 years of experience in helping companies with solutions to drive commercial value propositions into the market.

The strategic industry commercial focus of his work includes revenue enhancement, new product & technology introductions, P/L assessments, competitive analysis, and product & services differentiation, with a commercial focus on global, key regional and SME's (Small to Midsize Enterprises) via e-commerce. Major successful results with clients have been by implementing Business Development strategies, new product branding and launches, category expansions, operational & commercial alignment strategies, strategic partnerships, JDAs, evaluations, training and restructuring commercial personnel all yielding significant increases in sales and profits.

International Flavors & Fragrances

IFF is a $6.3+ Billion leading creator and manufacturer of flavors and fragrances for the food, beverage, personal care and household products industries. The Company operates in two major business segments: Flavors and Fragrances, in four regions (until the acquisition of Frutarom). Its Flavors business includes four categories of products: Savory, Beverages, Sweet (pharmaceutical and oral care) and Dairy. Its Fragrances business consists of three categories of products: Fine Fragrance / Beauty Care, Functional Fragrances and Fragrance Ingredients. IFF is dedicated to excellence, creativity, innovation and technology to provide its customers with the highest quality products and service. I managed various executive global responsibilities in fragrance, flavors and ingredients over my 20-year career in two operating locations.

Givaudan

Givaudan is a CHF 5.6 Million, Swiss-based company engaged in the fragrance and flavor industry. The Company has three business divisions: Fragrance, Flavors and Ingredients (with Naturex and other acquisitions). The Fragrances business segment comprises the manufacture and sale of fragrances into three global business units: Fine Fragrances, Consumer Products and Fragrance Ingredients. The Flavors business division comprises the manufacture and sale of flavors into four business units: Beverages, Dairy, Savory and Confectionery. Givaudan is also engaged in research and development activities, which comprises the development of a palette of perfumery raw materials, both synthetic and natural. Key responsibilities were on the BD for fragrances in fine & functional fragrances in three business unit locations over 5 years.

Mane continues to grow its global business with strategic accounts utilizing technology and a natural approach to specific product categories and markets. Being a 4th generation family company the industry estimates global sales are over $800 Million. During my tenure, I was responsible for East Coast commercial flavor sales with focus on strategic global accounts to include Coke, Nestle, Hershey, Cadbury/Kraft.

Sensient Technologies

Sensient Technologies is a $1.4 Billion global manufacturer and marketer of colors, flavors and ingredients. Sensient uses advanced technologies at facilities around the world to develop specialty food & beverage systems, cosmetic and pharmaceutical systems, inkjet and specialty inks and colors, and other specialties. The Company operates in two segments: Flavors & Fragrances Group and the Color Group. The Asia Pacific and the China Groups are included in the Corporate & Other category. The Company's principal products include flavors, flavor enhancers and bio-nutrients; fragrances and aroma chemicals; dehydrated vegetables and other food ingredients; natural and synthetic food and beverage colors; cosmetic and pharmaceutical colors and additives; and technical colors, inkjet colors and inks, and specialty dyes and pigments. During my short tenure, I was responsible for North America sales & marketing with focus on strategic accounts; Pepsi, Nestle, Unilever, P&G, McDonalds, Coke and all key US/International accounts.
